After coming home from deployment, Tim got several weeks off of work to recover, recouperate, and reintegrate. We spent the time chilling out! We visited some of our favorite places in the Black Hills, took some hikes, and got together with friends.
A visit to Bear Country proved to be very entertaining...the cubs were climbing the tree and playing "king of the mountain (or tree)" and trying to be the one to fight to stay at the top!
A drive on Needles Highway through the 1-way rock tunnel.
We hiked up to Cascade Falls...it was short and steep, but a beautiful day for hiking!
We visited family in Minnesota for a few days. It was a treat to see the area at the peak of summer -it was beautiful.
